OSU visits Diggin Livin to talk beekeeping

During June of 2019, Oregon State University’s Honey Bee Lab came out Diggin’ Livin’ Apiaries to interview Eric about our beekeeping practices. Carolyn Breece, the Senior Faculty Research Assistant, conducted the interviews over two days. Carolyn’s main interest was to gain insight about our organic program so that it would be part of a graduate level course through the Department of Horticulture, Entomology department. The result was 6 in-depth videos on the subjects: organic beekeeping, philosophy of sustainable beekeeping, pollination, organic honey production, varroa, and concluding thoughts. We really appreciate these folks and all their efforts! We hope our story can inspire other agriculturists towards a regenerative future in healthy beekeeping practices.
